Please Help: Project Lisa
Hi Everyone
About a month or so ago, Lisa joined my CT team and we got to know her a bit more. She also CTs for Scrap with Attitude and sells at Country Hollow. She is a wonderful part of our little scrap world and a friend to many of us. Some of you may not know, but Lisa recently lost her father and even more recently her uncle.
Instead of flowers she asked for donations for her family to help with funeral costs etc. Missy (owner of SWA) was successful in raising some money and able to send her a little bit. But I know a lot of us that would like to help, may not have a few extra to chip in. So, I suggested that we try to raise more money by putting something together to sell in the store. And so the organization of a collaborative effort begins.
It makes sense to get this together and hopefully making some money before the holidays get really roaring and we all get too busy with our real lives and our designing lives. So, we dont have much time. Please help us help Lisa and her family by contributing to our collaborative goodie bag.
We have a yahoo group set up temporarily where all the information you need is at your finger tips.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/project-Lisa/membersAnd here is an overview
We welcome open grab bag type contributions
All contributions should include designer name, TOU, and a preview
All contributions & previews can be uploaded directly to the ftp
The goodie bag will be for sale at Scrap with Attitude
All proceeds will go directly to Lisa and her family
We have a suggested color palette (below) and theme (In Memory) but we are open to all sorts of goodies
Deadline: November 23rd (the Monday before US Thanksgiving)
Goal: put in stores for Black Friday(day after US Thanksgiving) weekend and sell sell sell
All you have to do is join the yahoo group - snag the information - make and upload a contribution and preview - help promote the effort and advertise the final product. The more people that join in - the more help we can give Lisa and her family during this tough time.
Thanks Everyone :) Spread the word.
